Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of the TMF consists of nine persons elected by the Meeting of Members. Each research network may be represented on the Board by no more than one person. The Executive Board consists of three persons: the Chairperson and two deputies.
The TMF Board of Directors is strategically composed of persons from various activity groups among its members. It includes spokespersons from member organizations, managing directors and IT coordinators. Thus, all requirements arising from work in networked research is incorporated into the steering of the TMF.
The responsibilities of the Board of Directors particularly include:
- Strategic management of the Association in order to fulfill the aims as set out in the Articles of Association
- Preparation and convening of the Meetings of Members and implementation of the resolutions made at them
- Convening the Advisory Board
- Appraisal of the projects
- Drawing up the annual economic plan, the annual report and the annual financial statement
- Election and admission of new members
The Meeting of Members reelected the Board of Directors on April 16, 2010.
