Our Members – A Well-Connected Community
As full or associate members, research consortia, research institutions, and research groups can join TMF if they cooperate across multiple institutes or locations, addressing medical-scientific issues and their practical applications, or technical and methodological challenges in connected medical research. The membership fee for TMF is eligible for funding from both the BMBF and DFG.
Over the years, the TMF's membership has grown and become more diverse. Accordingly, the consortia, projects, and institutions involved in TMF are equally varied. With the increasing networking of medical research projects across locations, disciplines, and sectors, a new research culture has developed. This brings with it new or evolving organizational, technical, or legal requirements and questions, which TMF works on together with its members.
TMF accompanies the digitization in medicine and supports medical research projects in building their research data infrastructures. To do so, it facilitates interdisciplinary exchange and offers support on technical, legal-ethical, and organizational issues.
Who is a Member of TMF?
From the German Centers for Health Research and the consortia of the Medical Informatics Initiative to medical faculties and patient organizations: the range of TMF members is vast. What unites them all is their commitment to advancing medical progress for the benefit of patients.
