Our Topics
Clinical Research, Registries, Health Services Research
The TMF develops methods and instruments for medical research. Clinical studies, registries, and health services research studies are the basis for progress in medicine and are the focus of the TMF. Medical-scientific registries, in particular, have experienced a steady increase in importance in recent years as they fulfill various tasks in healthcare and quality research. The TMF has written expert reports on this topic and organized a series of events.

Prof. Dr. Rainer Röhrig, RWTH Aachen UniversityRegistries are increasingly taking on an important, supplementary role in evaluating medicinal products, medical devices, and health-political measures and reforms. Now is the time to live up to this responsibility.
Introduction of the Registry Workgroup
The TMF Registry Workgroup is concerned with how patient-related registries can be further developed in the light of changing health policy conditions and technological possibilities so that they can be used even more beneficially for medical research and health services research.
