The Alliance of Chronic Rare Diseases (ACHSE) - a network of over 100 patient organizations - and the Central Health Insurance Workgroup are collaborating to improve the care of patients with chronic rare diseases and to raise awareness of the issue among the general public. Therefore, ACHSE and Central Health Insurance are awarding the "Together for the Rare - ACHSE • Central Health Services Award for Chronic Rare Diseases" for the fourth time, which will be presented in the summer of 2014.
The award, endowed with 10,000 euros, honors existing projects that, through an innovative approach, overcome the difficulties of the healthcare system to provide better medical care for people with rare diseases. It is the aim of ACHSE and Central Health Insurance to promote, communicate, and multiply particularly successful care concepts with the Health Services Award.
Companies, institutions, organizations, and/or individuals can apply.
