The German Cancer Aid Has Established the Funding Priority Program “Translational Oncology”

Deadline for Letters of Intent Is December 13, 2016

To accelerate knowledge transfer from the laboratory to clinical practice, German Cancer Aid has established the funding priority program "Translational Oncology." Research groups are encouraged to network with other groups, jointly develop innovative research strategies, and carry out research projects. The findings of these projects are intended to reach the patient's bedside quickly.

Timeline/Deadlines (Receipt of written documents at the office):

  1. Deadline for letters of intent:
    December 13, 2016, 1:00 PM
  2. Deadline for project outlines (abstracts):
    February 14, 2017, 1:00 PM
  3. Deadline for elaborated proposals (full proposal):
    September 5, 2017, 1:00 PM
