Get involved now: 3rd TEHDAS2 Public Consultation
The implementation of the European Health Data Space (EHDS) requires not only technical and organisational prerequisites, but also a shared European understanding of the secure and responsible use of health data. A key role in this process is played by the Joint Action TEHDAS2 ("Towards a European Health Data Space 2"): as part of the project, public consultations are being conducted in which interested parties can contribute their perspectives and help shape the detailed provisions of the EHDS. The third public consultation was launched recently and will remain open until 28 June 2026.
TEHDAS2 invites stakeholders from research, healthcare, policymaking, and civil society to provide feedback on a total of seven draft guidelines intended to support the implementation of the EHDS for secondary use:
- Draft guideline on a framework for collaboration
- Draft guideline for health data access bodies on international and third country access and transfer of electronic health data
- Draft guideline for data enrichment
- Draft guideline for data users navigating the catalogue
- Draft guideline on linkage of health datasets
- Draft guideline for health data access bodies on informing natural persons about the use of health data – "Citizen Information Point"
- Draft guideline for data users on handling research outcomes
As preparation and background information, TMF, together with the TEHDAS2 partners, is offering a series of online workshops that will take place from 11 to 26 May 2026. These workshops are open to the public and free of charge. Join us—we look forward to your participation!
