Communication and Stakeholder Engagement
The communication and involvement of stakeholders is a topic that continues to gain importance in health research and is increasingly becoming a concern not only for professional communicators, but also for researchers themselves. Trust between research institutions and their stakeholders, between research and society, must be constantly rebuilt. Communication that creates transparency is therefore essential.

Introduction of the Workgroup
The TMF Science Communication Workgroup is a platform that promotes the communication and social discussion of publicly funded biomedical research. Members of the workgroup are primarily those responsible for communication in medical research networks and institutions, but also science managers and scientists themselves. The focus is on the exchange of experience, actions and further training on strategic science and health communication.

The TMF is a coordinating body for strategically relevant collaborative research projects at national and international levels. It is also involved in many small and large research projects as a specialized partner with a high level of expertise, particularly in legal, data protection, and ethical issues. In addition, it is involved in the development of concepts and project ideas for ministries and scientific institutions - regionally, nationally, and internationally.
